Proyash Art Auction
The 50 Artworks created by the Students of Proyash were auctioned by SPBA at a special event. The Auction was attended by Art Collectors, Galleries, Diplomats and Artists. All 50 Artworks were sold at a total of Tk. 15.80 lacs. All proceeds from the Sale was given to the Students along with a Certificate. Each of the participating Students took a lot of Pride and Joy with their performance.
The Parents of the Students sincerely appreciated the effort put into this by SPBA. This event was fully supported by Maasranga Television.
First Art Auction of Bangladesh
The first Auction featuring selected works by twenty-five Bangladeshi Artists brought together collectors, patrons, artists, and art enthusiasts for an evening of celebration and enthusiasm.
As the first formal auction of Bangladeshi art, the event marked a significant milestone in the evolution of the country’s art market.
The Auction was inaugurated by the then Finance Minister of the Govt. of Bangladesh and supported by the Square Group and MTB Bank Ltd.
