The SPBA-Bhutan Art Camp was held at the newly constructed Bangladesh Embassy in Thimpu, Bhutan.

For five days Artists from Bhutan and Bangladesh participated in this Art Camp. The objective of the Art Camp was to create artworks by the Artists of the two Countries to be displayed permanently at the Bangladesh Embassy to demonstrate the strong bond and friendship between Bhutan and Bangladesh.

Her Royal Highness Princess Eeuphelma Choden Wangchuk of Bhutan inaugurated the new Bangladesh Embassy. The Prime Minister of Bhutan, DashoTshering Tobgay along with Cabinet Ministers, Diplomats and senior Government Officials from Bangladesh and Bhutan attended the opening Ceremony and appreciated the Artworks specially created by the Artists of Bangladesh and Bhutan.

This exhibition featured works by seven Bangladeshi artists whose practices have been exhibited across Europe, North America, and Asia.

The exhibition brought together diverse contemporary expressions, highlighting the depth, energy, and individuality of Bangladeshi art. Each artist presented a distinct visual language shaped by personal emotion, experimentation, and formal innovation, reflecting the dynamic spirit of contemporary society in Bangladesh.

Eight selected artists from Bangladesh and twelve artists from Sri Lanka participated in a two-day International Art Camp at the Light of Asia Foundation, on the outskirts of Colombo, Sri Lanka. The camp brought together artists from diverse backgrounds to create live artworks while fostering cultural exchange and the sharing of creative processes between Bangladeshi and Sri Lankan artists.

Artists from Bangladesh: Hashem Khan, Shamsuddoha, Kanak Chanpa Chakma, Jahangir Hossain, Maqsuda Iqbal Nipa, Priti Ali, Monjur Rashid, and Rafi Haque.

Artists from Sri Lanka: S. H. Sarath, Dr. Manoranjana Herath, W. Nayanananda, Raja Segar, Channa Ekanayake, Sudath Abeysekara, D. P. A. S. Theja Gunawardhana, Gayan Prageeth, Chathuranga Sanjaya Biyagama, J. C. Rathnayake, Chammika Jayawardena, and Chathurika Jayani.

In collaboration with the High Commission of Bangladesh in Sri Lanka this exhibition presented a selection of artworks by Bangladeshi artists.

The exhibition demonstrated various techniques, similarities and contrast between Sri Lanka and Bangladeshi art. the continuity of Bangladesh’s rich artistic traditions while showcasing its evolving contemporary art practices shaped by diverse cultural influences. The works reflected a strong connection between tradition and modern expression.

“Automne Du Bengale II” presented a series of paintings by Bangladeshi artist Tajuddin Ahmed, exploring expressive figurative compositions through vibrant colors, dynamic forms, and layered textures. The exhibition reflected the artist’s style influenced by movement, rhythm, and contemporary neo-cubist sensibilities.

SPBA in association with Standard Chartered Bank organized this week long Exhibition of Bangladeshi Artists in Karachi. This Exhibition gave a very good insight into Bangladesh Art for the Art Enthusists in Pakistan.

In collaboration with Dhoomimal Gallery, the oldest art gallery in India, YATRA, a landmark exhibition, featured the works of 14 artists from Bangladesh. The exhibition showcased diverse artistic practices and reflected the evolving language of contemporary Bangladeshi art within an international context.

Held at Dhoomimal Gallery, the exhibition brought together a dynamic range of Bangladesh Artworks creating a positive impact on Indian art Collectors and Artists.

In collaboration with the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR), this marked the second landmark exhibition organized by SPBA in India of eminent Artist Mohammed Kibria.

This landmark Exhibition, the first of Mohammed Kibria in India presented by SPBA in association with the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) and Birla Academy of Art and Culture, this solo exhibition featured selected works of renowned Bangladeshi artist Mohammad Kibria. The presentation highlighted his distinctive abstract visual language and his lifelong exploration of form, color, and silence in painting.

Alongside the solo presentation of Mohammad Kibria, this group exhibition showcased works by eminent Indian artists.

This Exhibition has been regarded as the most anticipated Exhibition of a Foreign Artist in India.

This week-long exhibition featured works by seven Bangladeshi artists, offering an overview of the works of Bangladeshi Artists to promote Bangladesh art to Indian Collectors and Artists.

The exhibition marked one of the early international events of SPBA.

This solo presentation brings together selected print works by Bangladeshi artist Rafi Haque, featuring his experimentation of etching, lithography, and mixed printmaking techniques. The exhibition highlights his distinctive visual language built on line, texture, and different layered compositions.

His works reflect both personal reflection and broader social concerns, expressed through a sensitive balance of structure and spontaneity.
