Born in Dhaka in 1994, she works across painting, drawing, and installation, exploring displacement, environmental vulnerability, memory, migration, and cultural identity. Her practice is shaped by her experiences of growing up in Bangladesh and later moving to the United States, addressing climate change, flooding, disappearing landscapes, and the tension between urban development and nature.
She holds a BFA and MFA in Drawing and Painting from the University of Dhaka and is currently pursuing an MFA in Studio Art at Miami University. Combining abstraction with narrative imagery and layered materials, her work often features neon pink as a symbolic contrast between natural ecosystems and synthetic intervention.
Her work has been exhibited at the Dhaka Art Summit (2023), Tokyo International Art
Fair (2024), Yogyakarta International Art Festival (2019), and the 18th Asian Art
Biennial Bangladesh (2018), as well as a 2024 United Nations-associated exhibition connected to the Asia-Pacific Ministerial Conference on Disaster Risk Reduction. Her work is held in the Samdani Art Foundation and Imago Mundi Collection, and she was included in the Dazed 100 Asia List (2024).
