This retrospective exhibition presented a rare selection of works by Mohammad Kibria (1929–2011), bringing together artworks from private collectors, institutions, and the artist’s family collection. Many of these works were exhibited to the public for the very first time.
Kibria’s practice reflects a lifelong exploration of abstraction, silence, and inner emotion. His time in Japan on a Japan Government scholarship deeply changed his style. This Exhibition clearly demonstrates this change from early days Realism to the modernism movement and Abstracts.
