Innocent with the hungry-was a solo exhibition by Javed Jalil featuring 27 oil paintings. The exhibition was inaugurated by Mohammad Kibria, with Mr. Anjan Chowdhury, Chairman of SPBA, as special guest.

In this body of work, Jalil imagines himself at the center of an exploration where surrounding sensations and realities—both physical and metaphysical—converge through his personal vision, which he describes as his “secret soliloquy.” Within this introspective realm, he seeks order, poetry, and permanence in his own distinctive manner.

The artist regards each canvas as a snapshot of a particular moment in time, reflecting the journey of that moment while encompassing multiple ideas and experiences. His unique linear mode of expression and highly personal visual language distinguish his artworks and establish a singular artistic narrative.
